Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics, English, Global Perspectives, and Cumulating Project to students according to the requirements of the Cambridge International Curriculum, with a teaching load of up to 20 hours per week.
- Prepare curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching materials for class instruction and activities, and manage information on the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Adapt teaching methods, learning strategies, and instructional materials to meet the varying needs and interests of students.
- Conduct assessments of student attainment, monitor student academic progress, and provide pertinent feedback.
- Establish classroom expectations, observe and evaluate student performance, behavior, social development, and health.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, or guardians to discuss student progress and address behavioral or academic issues.
- Prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help.
- Attend faculty meetings, professional development training, and school events.
- Plan and work on extracurricular activities such as clubs, academic contests, etc.
- Perform miscellaneous professional duties as assigned by the Principal/Director.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a preference for those holding a Bachelor in Primary Education.
- Professional Teaching qualification/license/certification as applicable.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree.
- A minimum of 2 years’ professional experience (after obtaining a teaching qualification) in teaching primary subjects in a structured school setting.
- Experience with the Cambridge International Curriculum is desired but not essential.
- Fluent English speaker (minimum C1 fluency).
