This is a dual-role position combining school-time and after-school coaching with lead responsibilities during school holiday sports camps. About the Role

Prime Sports Uk are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team, delivering high-quality physical activity sessions across primary schools in Bradford and Halifax. This is a dual-role position combining school-time and after-school coaching with lead responsibilities during school holiday sports camps.

This is an exciting opportunity for a coach who is passionate about inspiring young people, confident in leading groups, and able to deliver engaging, safe, and inclusive sessions.

Key Responsibilities

During School Term:

  • Deliver curriculum-time PE lessons in primary schools
  • Lead after-school sports clubs and activity sessions
  • Plan and adapt sessions to meet the needs of varying ages and abilities
  • Maintain excellent behaviour management and safeguarding standards
  • Build strong relationships with school staff, pupils, and parents

During School Holidays:

  • Act as Lead Coachfor our multi-sport holiday camps
  • Oversee daily operations between 8:00am – 6:00pm(shift patterns may vary)
  • Ensure camps run safely, smoothly, and to a high standard
  • Supervise coaching staff and support assistants
  • Create a positive, energetic, and fun environment for all children attending

Essential Requirements

  • Significant experienceworking inschool settingsandholiday clubs/camps
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Ability to lead engaging, high-quality sports sessions
  • A genuine passion for working with children
  • Clean DBS(or willingness to obtain one)
  • Reliable, flexible, and professional attitude
  • Must be available throughout school holidays

Desirable (but not essential)

  • A full UK driving licenceand access to a vehicle
  • Relevant coaching qualifications
  • First Aid and Safeguarding certificates
  • Experience leading a team of coaches
