Birmingham City Football Club is seeking a professional, reliable, and discreet Club Driver (Casual) to support transportation requirements across the Club.
The role is responsible for the safe and punctual transport of players, staff, executives, and VIPs to Club events, engagements, and fixtures across the Men’s and Women’s First Teams. The role also includes the secure couriering of confidential items and responsibility for maintaining Club vehicles to the highest professional standards.
This position requires flexibility, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to operate calmly and professionally in a high-performance sporting environment.

Transport confidential documents and post between Club sites

Perform routine vehicle checks to ensure safety, cleanliness, and presentation

Coordinate vehicle servicing, maintenance, repairs, and MOT requirements

Support valet operations for First Team vehicles

Executive & VIP Travel

Provide safe, punctual, and professional transport for Club owners, board members, directors, and visiting VIPs
-
Deliver executive transport services on matchdays and official Club events

Coordinate guest movements between hotels, airports, hospitality areas, and the stadium
-
Operate in alignment with Club security protocols to ensure passenger safety and privacy
-
Review daily schedules and itineraries to confirm timings, routes, and requirements
-
Communicate clearly regarding collection points, arrival times, and journey updates

Prepare contingency plans for delays, diversions, or incidents

Deliver and collect confidential documents or packages on behalf of the Board or CEO
Additional Duties

Maintain Club vehicles to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation

Complete digital vehicle checks using the Club’s nominated app
-
Liaise with the H&S Manager to ensure vehicle logs are kept up to date

Ensure vehicles are stocked with appropriate amenities such as bottled water, tissues, sanitiser, newspapers, umbrellas, and charging cables

Maintain accurate records of mileage, journeys, fuel use, and expenses
-
Support Facilities or Operations teams with vehicle movements between sites

Carry out ad-hoc errands, collections, or deliveries as required
Experience and Qualifications
Essential
-
Full UK driving licence
-
Driving experience in a professional sport or high-performance environment
Desirable
-
Previous driving experience at a professional football club
