Hours of work: 5 HOURS PER WEEK, with full flexibility of when these hours are to be used. The exact working hours and days would be discussed at interview stage, with the prospective employer.
Location: GREAT SANKEY AREA OF WARRINGTON, CHESHIRE
Rate of pay: £12.60 PER HOUR
JOB SUMMARY:
To support an autistic child at home, and to access social and leisure activities within the community. We are looking for a Personal Assistant (PA) to support our Peppa Pig loving 5-year old boy. He is non-verbal and autistic. We are looking for a caring and kind person who loves the outdoors. Our little boy is loving, kind and timid, and loves to be constantly moving. He loves to spend time walking outdoors, swimming, at soft play, trampoline parks and doing crafts. The candidate would need to be able to form a bond with our boy, in order for a trusting relationship to be built.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Support to learn independent living skills
- Take out to access amenities within the community (e.g. soft play, trampoline parks, cinema and swimming).
- Support with personal care (toileting needs)
- Escorting to events and outings
- Support during social and leisure activities
CAR OWNER/DRIVER ESSENTIAL. As the successful applicant would be required to use their own vehicle as part of their employment, they must ensure that their insurance provider covers them for business purposes.
Further information:
A probationary period will be included for the successful applicant. The successful applicant would be required to complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (free).
