IT Asset Coordinator

In this role you will be to be central to implementing IT asset procedures within Cardiff Metropolitan University's ITSM/ITAM platform HaloITSM. Your work will ensure our IT asset records remain accurate throughout the whole Lifecyle. You will use contractual and asset inventory insights to help the University make informed decisions about IT assets and support cost effective IT operations. You will be joining at an exciting time for the digital services team, with new ways of working driving innovation.

What you’ll bring 

  • HND or above in an IT related subject or professional certifications, with demonstrable experience.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with HaloITSM or similar IT Service Management platforms.
  • Familiarity with IT Asset Management and related tools (e.g. Autopilot, ServiceNow, Halo, Lansweeper, SCCM/Endpoint manager, Intune).
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
