Senior Care & Support Assistant
Location: Marjorie House Residential Home, Lilliput, Poole, BH14 8LT
Pay rate: £13.25 per hour
Hours: Full time (includes working alternate weekends)
You’ll have completed or be working towards an NVQ3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
Come and join our brand-new team at Care South, Marjorie House - a spectacular 50 bed specialist dementia and residential care home in Lilliput, Poole.
Our new purpose-built Art Deco building has stunning views over Poole Harbour and Brownsea Island and will be opening in September 2024.
You’ll be able to support our residents in a safe and caring environment where they can live their lives as if in the comfort of their own home.

What you will be doing:
- Working alongside a team of Care Assistants to ensure they are supported and have guidance throughout their shift
- Identifying the individual needs and abilities of our residents to allow you to deliver person centred care.
- Supporting residents to help them remain as independent as possible.
- Providing companionship – really getting to know them!
- Acting as point of escalation for any incidents or events in the home.
- Working in a team to create a co-operative, friendly and welcoming atmosphere around home.

You’ll have completed or be working towards an NVQ3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
With your previous care experience, you will have the knowledge and understanding of care planning and administering medication.
