Community Psychological Wellbeing Assistant
Living Well Consortium (LWC) is recruiting for a Community Psychological Wellbeing Assistant to support the delivery of a project which aims to support beneficiaries in fostering social and emotional skills. This is a fixed-term position, and the project is scheduled to conclude in July 2026.
LWC is a network of third sector mental health organisations working collectively to support the mental health and wellbeing of people across Birmingham and Solihull. The organisation has secured contracts to deliver psychological support to people across this area through the NHS Talking Therapies (NHS TT) programme.
The role will involve assessing and supporting children and young people with common mental health problems to achieve personal goals and overcome individual social, educational and emotional barriers. They will plan, organise and deliver a range of inclusive, outcomes-focussed interventions, wellbeing groups, and workshops to beneficiaries across various locations in Birmingham within clinical guidance by qualified staff.
Applicants must hold a relevant degree or clinical qualification such as a psychology degree.
The role involves travel across the wider Birmingham area and therefore is not suitable for homeworking only, although some hybrid working may be possible.

- Working hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Salary: £26,921.51pro rata per annum
- Fixed term until 31st July 2026
