Job Description

Beamish museum is excited to be part of the Durham County wide Into the Light programme with its ambition to drive long-lasting growth in County Durham through creative collaboration. Launched in 2023 and running until 2027 the programme works with partner organisations to cultivate talent, widen access to creative learning, education, enhance skills, and break down barriers in the creative industries.

The Creative and Cultural Skills Hub hosted by Beamish focuses on opening doors, strengthening pathways, and building a more inclusive, connected, and sustainable creative and cultural workforce in County Durham. We aim to empower individuals – particularly, those underrepresented in the sector - to gain the skills, confidence and networks they need to thrive whilst supporting organisations to collaborate, learn and grow together
