37.5 hours per week (which includes some late evenings)
Salary: £12.59 per hour
Base: YMCA Highland Road, Dudley DY1 3BT
The role will include but will not be limited to:
- Engaging with young people identifying their passions, personal needs, and aspirations and helping to remove any barriers which prevents them achieving their full potential.
- Conducting interviews with applicants, performing the appropriate needs and risk assessments and reference checks before offering accommodation.
- Ensuring minimal vacancies by promptly arranging cleaning and preparing flats to be re-let as quickly as possible.
- Visiting properties as agreed, to ensure safety, overall good condition, and residents’ adherence to the licence agreement.
The ideal candidate will be computer literate, approachable and interested in inspiring young people. You will need to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining quality housing services. Excellent communication skills are a must, as you’ll collaborate effectively with a diverse range of agencies.
