You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a rota basis.

Main Duties include:

To provide regulated personalised care and support to people in their own homes to enable

independence and enhance their wellbeing.

To provide a rapid response community care service enabling people to be safely discharged from

hospital or to prevent an admission into hospital.

Be a supportive leader of a team of care and support assistants, providing one to one supervision, training and guidance.

Be a good listener and carry out customer assessments in peoples own homes.

Must be willing to make a difference

A care certificate / NVQ Level 2

NVQ Level 3 (or willing to undertake)

Full clean UK Driving licence, have use of a vehicle and hold business use insurance

Processing fees

When you make a donation to St Helena Hospice, we are charged transactional fees by other companies, including fees for processing payments made to us, looking up addresses and validating bank account details.

We are very grateful to our donors who offer to offset some of these fees with a minor addition to their total amount. This is however completely optional and we are very grateful for your support whether or not you choose to contribute to processing fees.
