About South Park Enterprise College


South Park Enterprise College is an independent SEMH specialist school for students aged 11-16, many with EHCPs and diagnoses such as ADHD or ASD.

We provide a safe, nurturing environment for young people who have struggled in mainstream schools or face exclusion.


Key Responsibilities

• Join the Senior Leadership Team to lead and manage the school

• Drive school improvement strategies

• Oversee teaching quality, curriculum, and pupil progress

• Manage staff teams and resources

• Deputise for Associate and Executive Headteachers as needed

• Lead daily teaching and learning operations

• Support staff development and appraisals

• Deliver a small teaching timetable

• Identify and report safeguarding trends; ensure strong safeguarding

• Provide safeguarding training

• Manage diverse behavioural needs to support staff

• Attend multi-agency meetings to support pupils

 Requirements

• Proven school leadership and improvement experience

• Strong knowledge of Ofsted and school standards

• Experienced in safeguarding, curriculum, and staff management

• Exceptional practitioner skilled at raising teaching and learning standards

• Expert in behaviour management, able to enforce high standards school-wide

• Deep understanding of SEND Code of Practice

• Knowledgeable in Keeping Children Safe in Education
