We’re seeking a passionate and experienced healthcare professional to join the Active Partnership team as a Place-Based PACC with a primary focus on Luton. This is a unique opportunity to shape and deliver an innovative, place-based approach to clinician-to-clinician training, helping embed physical activity into clinical care and support healthier, more active lives across communities in Luton. You'll work closely with the national PACC team, Be Active and local and regional health partners to deliver impactful training that supports healthcare professionals to improve patient care and outcomes through physical activity with a particular focus on oncology and mental health teams.

Salary:£37,723 pro rata Hours: Part Time – 2 Days Per Week Location: Luton Area

Be Active is in partnership with Active Luton a community wellbeing trust offering leisure and sport, health and wellbeing, community outreach, training and education and Luton's library services. We want to make sure everyone in Luton has the right access and opportunity to get active and improve wellbeing and quality of life.

We're seeking a passionate and experienced healthcare professional to join the Active Partnership team as a Place-Based PACC with a primary focus on Luton.

This is a unique opportunity to shape and deliver an innovative, place-based approach to clinician-to-clinician training, helping embed physical activity into clinical care and support healthier, more active lives across communities in Luton.

You'll work closely with the national PACC team, Be Active and local and regional health partners to deliver impactful training that supports healthcare professionals to improve patient care and outcomes through physical activity with a particular focus on oncology and mental health teams.

You'll need to build strong relationships across systems and use your clinical insight and local knowledge to develop a thriving community of practice. Your role will be central to enabling system-wide change and driving forward the project funders, Sport England's ambition to reduce health inequalities through physical activity.

This role is open to qualified clinicians only. Applicants must be registered medical professionals, nurses, or Allied Health Professionals with current professional registration and recent or ongoing clinical experience within the BLMK region. You'll bring excellent training and facilitation skills, ideally supported by a teaching qualification or equivalent experience and a strong understanding of the role physical activity plays in preventing and managing long-term conditions.
