Volunteer Role: One-off events volunteer- Doncaster 10K

Volunteer Supervisor: Regional fundraiser

Location: Doncaster Racecourse, Leger way, Doncaster, DN2 6BB

Days/Times: Sunday 30th November. 7.30am-12pm

About this role:

We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to support us at the Doncaster 10K race that is taking place on Sunday 30th November. This race will be starting and finishing at Doncaster racecourse.

We are looking for volunteers to assist with the following tasks:

• Marshalling at different points along the race track.
• Operating a bag drop

What we are looking for:

Volunteers who are

• Looking for a one off volunteering opportunity (although you are more than welcome to sign up as a regular volunteer afterwards!)
• Friendly
• Willing to be part of a team
• Respectful of members of the public, staff and fellow volunteers

General

Bluebell Wood volunteers are asked to:

• Be a minimum of 16 years of age.
• Abide by Bluebell Wood policies and guidance, including our Health & Safety policy.
• Co-operate and liaise with colleagues.
• Act in a professional manner at all times.
• Be polite and respectful to everyone you meet whilst volunteering in this role.
• Act as an Ambassador for the Bluebell Wood Charity.

No previous experience is necessary and the application process is quick and easy! Simply complete our short registration form, we'll send you all the information you need ahead of the event and you just need to bring your enthusiasm on the day!

• Counsellor

  To work as part of our Family Support Team providing holistic and therapeutic support to children and young people under the care of Bluebell Wood as well as family members experiencing anticipatory grief or bereavement. Our bereavement offer also extends to those families referred to us via external partnerships where children and young people have died suddenly and unexpectedly.
