Brand Officer

Are you passionate about building strong, consistent brands that make a real difference?

We are looking for a Brand Officer to help deliver Dogs Trust’s new brand strategy, ensuring our brand is applied consistently across all channels to enhance perception, value and impact. You’ll support brand development, asset management, identity guardianship and campaign delivery, managing small to medium projects while collaborating with the Brand Lead, Marcomms, Fundraising and senior stakeholders across the charity.

About this role:

As a Brand Officer you will:

  • Act as a gatekeeper of Dogs Trust’s brand architecture and guidelines, working with key stakeholders to ensure a consistent, recognisable brand identity across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Work closely with the Brand Lead and another Brand Officer to deliver, launch and embed the new brand refresh across the organisation.
  • Support the planning and delivery of macro campaigns, managing day-to-day relationships and ways of working with core agencies.
  • Produce regular reports on campaign performance and brand health, providing data and insights to support econometrics and strategic decision-making.
  • Manage small to medium brand projects, conduct brand audits, and provide brand expertise to empower teams and maintain consistent standards across the charity.

About You:

You will be proactive and collaborative, with experience in marketing or brand-related roles and a proven track record of delivering successful campaigns. With a solid understanding of brand principles, strong communication and project management skills, you’ll work confidently with colleagues and external partners to deliver high-quality results. Detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and passionate about creating impactful and accessible work, you’ll bring energy, and creativity to help strengthen and protect the Dogs Trust brand.

About the team:

Sitting in the wider marketing and Communications Division, the Communications department plays a critical role in building our brand and driving engagement with its mission to help dogs when they need us most.

We are a dynamic team encompassing Brand, Content, and Internal Communications and it is our collective responsibility to ensure a consistent brand story across all our communications touchpoints.
