THE BRIDGE PROJECT
25,548 per year
Salem Street, Bradford
Full-time
15th January 2026

We’re excited to announce an excellent opportunity for a People Services Administration Assistant to join our team.  The Bridge Project is a long-established Charity based in Bradford, with a dedicated staff team of over 110, committed to supporting people affected by deprivation, inequality and health challenges.  Our work is grounded in compassion, respect and a belief in people’s strengths.

This role is offered on a full-time basis, on a 6 month fixed term contract. Unfortunately, the role is not a hybrid role. The successful candidate will be expected to work from our Salem Street office in Bradford from 9.00am – 5.00pm Monday – Friday.

We are looking for someone who can assist with our processes and procedures, from advertising for new staff through to onboarding. This will include maintaining our online HR tool and learning and development function. We welcome applicants who bring strong administrative skills and confidence using digital systems, a willingness to learn and the ability to manage tasks with care and attention. You will be able to work collaboratively within a small but supportive team and show discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.

This is a varied role, working within a busy team and may suit someone who has an interest in People Services at the start of their career. This is a great chance to deepen your understanding of everything a People Services team does, where you will quickly realise just how many functions come together to support employees and keep an organisation running effectively.

If you are passionate about what we do and would thrive working as part of our staff team, we’d love to hear from you.

In return, as well as a rewarding career, we can offer a competitive salary, 4% pension contribution, generous annual leave entitlement, an L&D programme, employee assistance scheme, life insurance, a monthly team wellbeing session and a programme of mindfulness activities for staff. The Bridge Project is a Mindful Employer.

You must complete the Bridge Project’s application form in order to be considered for the role.  The application form plays a key part in our recruitment and selection process.  We use the information you provide about your skills, experience, career and education history to decide whether or not to invite you for an interview.  It is important that you complete the application form as fully and accurately as possible, ensuring that you give specific examples which demonstrate how you meet the criteria.

No CVs are accepted. No Employment Agencies please.

If you have any further questions, please contact Maxine Woods, Head of People Services on recruitment@thebridgeproject.org.uk

The closing date is 9.00 am on Thursday 15 January 2026.

Shortlisting will take place on Thursday 15 January 2026.

Interviews will be held on Friday 23 January 2026.
