The SEO and Digital Content Specialist helps adults and children with sight loss to live the life they choose by planning, developing and implementing effective SEO strategies to increase visibility and engagement online using search engines to acquire and convert supporter base and increase visitors across the Guide Dog’s website through regular management of search engine optimisation activities.
For this role you will be based at our London site and expected to attend site 2/3 days per week.

Candidate requirements
• At least 2 years of hands-on Content and/or Technical SEO experience, either agency or in-house
•
Documenting and prioritising an SEO backlog and working with Digital Content Production team, developers and stakeholders to deliver backlog items
• Experience in supporting on SEO content strategy and reporting on campaigns
• Experience in improving a site’s online presence and performance for major search engines
• Excellent knowledge of industry tools e.g. SEMRush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, GA4 and Looker Studio

Experience working with other teams like Digital PR and Paid Search to optimise content
•
Excellent, up to date knowledge of SEO best practices
•
Functional knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript
