Fauna & Flora is seeking a motivated and collaborative Programme Officer, Partnerships & Organisational Development to support our partners growing conservation work in São Tomé and Príncipe. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to locally-led conservation by strengthening the capacity of national partners and supporting the delivery of impactful projects across São Tomé and Príncipe.
Working closely with colleagues, you will help co-develop organisational development plans, coordinate tailored technical support, and assist partners in building the systems and structures needed for long-term sustainability. You will also support partner teams in designing, implementing, and monitoring conservation projects, contributing to workplans, reporting, and fundraising efforts. In addition, you’ll provide operational support to the wider Eastern Atlantic Island programme and help integrate São Tomé and Príncipe’s partner work into Fauna & Flora’s wider regional programme.
We’re looking for someone with experience supporting organisations or projects in conservation or development, who can also contribute to organisational development of our partner organisations by facilitating training, coordinating capacity assessments, and helping partners strengthen internal systems. Experience in project coordination, capacity development, or working with civil society organisations would be an asset, especially in a cross-cultural setting.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Portuguese, confident working across cultures, organised, adaptable, and committed to working collaboratively with local partners to strengthen organisational capacity and deliver impactful conservation outcomes.
