Lived Experience Administrator - Young Peoples Service 
Part time - 7 hours per week - Initial 12 month contract 
Location: 29 Folkestone Road, London N18 2ER 

Enfield Young peoples service are looking for an Administrator to join them on a fixed term basis covering Maternity Leave. The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support within the service. This service provides information, advice and help for young people who are impacted by or living with drug and alcohol challenges. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:  
  • Contact past and present service users by phone to gather feedback on their experience.
  • Accurately record feedback in line with the service’s procedures.
  • Work with the team to identify common themes in service user feedback.
  • Handle conversations sensitively and respectfully, with an awareness of confidentiality and safeguarding.
  • Support basic admin tasks as needed (e.g., data entry, updating contact records).
  • Attend briefings or debriefs with the team when required.


Ideally we are looking for someone who is: 
  • Aged 18–25 (to reflect the age range of service users).
  • Confident communicator with a friendly and professional telephone manner.
  • Comfortable speaking to people from different backgrounds, including those with lived experience of substance use.
  • Strong listening skills and a non-judgmental attitude.
  • Interest in the charity sector and/or supporting vulnerable young people.
  • Reliable and able to commit to volunteering one day per week.
  • Basic IT skills (e.g., using email, data entry on spreadsheets or simple databases).
  • Willingness to learn about confidentiality, safeguarding, and professional boundaries.


Desirable (but not essential):
  • Previous experience in admin, customer service, or peer support.
  • Lived experience or understanding of substance use or youth services.
  • An interest in progressing into social care, youth work, counselling, or related fields.
