About The Role

We’re looking for a hard-working individual to join our friendly and committed team at our St Michael’s Hospice retail facility in Whitestone, near Bartestree, Hereford. If you can spot your Primark from your Prada or your F+F from your Boden, then this role will be perfect for you! A large proportion of this role will require sorting of stock such as clothing and Bric-a-Brac ready to stock the shop floors across our retail portfolio. If you’re someone who goes the extra mile to deliver exceptional customer service to both donors and customers, we’d love to hear from you. This role will be varied-frequently representing the hospice on the donation centre desk to accept donations from the public, or on occasion taking to the road in one of our vans to ensure stock makes its way to the right shops across the county.

Previous warehousing or customer service experience would be an advantage, but if you’re a quick learner with plenty of enthusiasm, we’ll provide full training. Good organisation skills, an ability to multi-task together with a flexible approach are essential this role. As the position involves moving and handling, a good level of physical fitness is required. You will be an ambassador for St Michael’s at all times. In return for your commitment, we’ll provide a competitive salary and benefits package, within a highly reputable charity.

The role is 37.5 hours over 7 days to include regular weekend work (arranged by a rota) Part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate.
