What is Sheffield Play Partnership?
Sheffield Play Partnership is a joint project of Pitsmoor Adventure Playground, MASKK (Manor Afterschool Kids Club) and Adventures (Managed by Sharrow Community Forum) who are long established community-based play providers, offering free and affordable play provision for school age children in their local areas of Pitsmoor, The Manor and Sharrow.
These providers established Sheffield Play Partnership in 2022 out of concern for the loss of community based play provision across Sheffield and to share expertise and resources between them. With funding from the council in 2024/25 we were able to lend our expertise to start to turn the tide and pave the way for new and growing play projects. Read more about our impact in 2024/25.
We are now looking to expand our dedicated team to build on the work of Sheffield Play Partnership to support Playworkers and play projects across the city, raising awareness of the positive impacts and importance of play as we go.
