Film and Television Teacher
Pauline Quirke Academy is looking for a film and TV teacher to join their team!
Location: Rugby
Salary: £20-£25 per hour
Type: part-time/freelance (Saturdays term time) 9:30 - 17:00. 6 x 45 minute classes a week.
Starting: January 2026
Are you a filmmakers or have industry knowledge of film and television production? Then this could be for you!
Job role:
You will be leading filmmaking workshops with children from 6-18 years creating material that can ultimately be screened in a local cinema and shared online.
You will ideally have some experience working with children and young people and have a strong background making short films.
PQA will need you have have an Enhanced DBS which can be arranged if successful in the interview.
Job requirements:
- To be a graduate in film making
- Have experience in editing
- Have experience working with students
Job responsibilities:
- To create short films with various groups of children every Saturday
- To inspire the younger generation
- To teach them skills in front and behind the camera
