Location: Post based in Bradford (BD1 5BA & BD1 3DN) and Keighley (BD21 2AD).

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

Contract type / hours: Permanent, 37 Hours

About the role...
Are you a Nurse or Pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber qualification and a passion for delivering evidence-based treatments in Substance Misuse?
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Independent Prescriber to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced clinical skills, a strong knowledge of pharmacology, and the ability to autonomously assess, diagnose, and manage patient care. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and ensure the highest standards of care.Key Requirements:

• Independent Prescriber qualification
• RCGP Qualifications Level 1 (and 2 or willingness to work towards)
• Experience of working within substance misuse (desirable)

We are one of the largest complex integrated treatment services in England. We operate an MDT model and there is real opportunity to work within a fantastic supportive team, including a mental health nurse offering specific interventions to support people, making a real difference to the lives of those in our community.
We have a strong ethos around staff development, with protected CPD time being offered, as well as individual and group supervision. Aquarius is a subsidiary of Waythrough. Aquarius is a Midlands-based charity supporting individuals to overcome the harms caused by drugs, alcohol and gambling. Aquarius has always held the view that people we support could resolve their problems with support and guidance and that people have the ability to find their own solutions to their problems.
