Events and Marketing Manager Dec 2025 1 Purpose of the role This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who enjoys bringing people together through events, communications, and creative digital outreach. The successful candidate will play a key role in growing TR Together’s presence and community, ensuring our events continue to inspire, connect, and support psychotherapists in their ongoing professional development. Responsibilities Responsibility Task/deliverables Event management – Online Oversee end-to-end event management using digital tools to monitor workflow, create timelines, and meet deadlines. Event management – In person Upload events and information to the website, draft and send participant communications, coordinate technical support, and prepare materials. Manage logistics including venue booking, catering, equipment setup, and on- site support to ensure seamless delivery. Support speakers by managing contracts, rehearsals, and technical requirements; ensure they are well-prepared and confident on the day. Manage customer service, communications, and queries to ensure a high- quality participant experience. Marketing Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote events across social media, email, and partner networks. Plan, create, and schedule engaging content to increase TR Together’s social media following, engagement, and brand awareness. Data management Use Canva (and similar tools) to produce digital and print assets for events and campaigns. Drive audience expansion by using social media, targeted digital campaigns, and strategic partnerships to increase subscribers and event attendees. Track and analyse marketing performance and event data (attendance, engagement, website analytics, feedback) to measure impact and inform future planning. Produce regular reports on event outcomes and audience growth metrics. Corporate responsibility Maintain a social media profile and presence that is aligned to the TR profile as a credible and professional organisation. Proactive participation in organisational internal communication activity. Periodic reporting to support communication to the wider organisation including SMT and board committees. Manage all personal data and information in accordance with the provisions of the TR Data Protection handbook. Act in accordance with the provisions of the TR Health & Safety policy, always ensuring safety of colleagues, clients, and students.
