About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Email Marketing Executive to join the Marketing & Communications team at Southern Hospice Group. Reporting to the Digital Manager, you’ll be part of the Digital team, working alongside the Content & PR team and Campaigns & Marketing team. You will play a vital role in the Marketing & Communications team, managing a series of email journeys across a variety of stakeholder groups including supporters, volunteers and healthcare professionals.
Essential criteria- Work with the Communications Manager (Digital) to oversee the hospices' email marketing, from managing our email marketing account/platform through to email and programme design, automation and targeting.
- Manage specific email campaigns from beginning to end, including setting objectives, defining testing, drafting copy, building emails (including multiple versions if required), data, dispatch, analysis, and feedback.
- Lead on the delivery of the digital supporter journey and nurture journeys, working with the wider Digital team to devise acquisition activity, and build and maintain programmes that retain and grow support from our database.
- Conduct A/B testing across our email activity (including subject lines and call to action buttons) to optimise future email campaigns and programmes.
- Act as an internal consultant, advising Account Executives and other colleagues across the organisation on how to use email to best meet their objectives, such as fundraising colleagues delivering workflow emails.
- Produce email content for digital campaigns or newsletters as required.
- Work with colleagues to add value to offline fundraising campaigns through our email marketing efforts.
