Connected Voice is looking for a new member of our Support and Development service for VCSE organisations in Gateshead and Newcastle. This is a rewarding role managing the Support and Development team. Our team provides a holistic support service for local organisations including training, networking events, governance advice, funding support, and information. The team also manages the OurGateshead community website.
We are looking for a people person with the ability to motivate individuals and foster good working relationships within a team. You will have a strong understanding of the needs of the VCSE sector in Newcastle and Gateshead, particularly for small and medium sized organisations. You will be able to build and maintain positive relationships internally and externally. You will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, well-organised, with good strategic leadership-management skills. You will be able to confidently represent and amplify voices in the VCSE sector. You will have a good head for business and be able to generate income to support our sustainability.
This is a great opportunity to manage a team that supports and develops VCSE organisations to build their capabilities, as well as professionally develop your skills, knowledge and experience.
