Experience of working directly with people with
learning disability and/or autism in a
community or residential setting.

Commitment to working positively with people
with learning disability to promote their well-
being and independence.

An understanding and commitment to
Safeguarding of children and adults at risk

Demonstrate commitment to the rights of
service users to participate fully in the
decisions that affect their lives.

Able to maintain clear and accurate records.

Ability to write letters, complete forms etc for
the tenants.

To have good communication skills.

Ability to give advice and advocate for service
users.

Ability to access and respond to needs
expressed by the service users.

To work in partnership with colleagues,

NVQ III In Care.
