Service Administrator - Platters Farm Lodge

About the Role

Are you an organised administrator who thrives in a very busy and varied role? If you like each day to be different and find it satisfying knowing that you have made a difference, we may just have the perfect full-time role for you in our Platters Farm Lodge administration team in Rainham, Kent.

This role is for 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday, however, there may be occasions outside of these hours, depending on the needs of the service.

This permanent role is being offered on an annual salary of £22,282 pa.

Job Opportunity

As Service Administrator at Platters Farm Lodge, you will:

  • Provide administrative support to the management team in the form of taking minutes and drafting letters and emails
  • Support the daily management of staff rotas
  • Respond to enquiries and maintain computerised care-related data
  • Cover for the Admissions & Discharge Administrator during periods of leave
  • Manage credit card statements and collect receipts and invoices to go to the Finance department
  • Order care and clinical supplies, including PPE from the PPE Portal

Platters Farm Lodge in Rainham, Medway offers short breaks, respite, rehabilitation, and long-stay facilities for adults. Individuals can live at Platters Farm Lodge on a long-term basis. The service also provides people with dementia, related care and support.

For some people, the fun and nurturing environment of Platters Farm Lodge is their permanent home. The service is vibrant, socially warm, and inviting for the individual and their family and friends.

Essential Skills

Our ideal Service Administrator will:

  • Possess excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Experience of using computerised systems
  • Hold 5 GCSEs, Grade C/5 or above, or equivalent
  • Have the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Be able to clearly and appropriately communicate both orally and in written form with people inside and outside of the Foundation

Although not essential, it would be an advantage if you have a qualification i business or administration would be an advantage, but not necessary.
