Dysgu is a newly established national body, created to transform professional learning and leadership development for the education workforce across Wales.
With a mission to shape the future of education, Dysgu is building a new, coherent model of working – based on the voices of practitioners and designed to support teachers, teaching assistants, school leaders, school improvement advisers, and youth workers.
Dysgu is now looking to appoint a Leader of Curriculum Priorities to join the organisation on secondment for two years or as a full time, permanent role. You will develop and manage a team of secondees to establish, expand and embed national support in the areas of literacy, numeracy and curriculum design, progression and assessment.
This is an important role as the organisation is established, with key relationships to manage - including with practitioners, leaders and local authority professionals - to develop curriculum priorities, ensuring that that they are responsive to the needs of practitioners in Wales.
The ability to communicate fluently in Welsh is essential for this role.
