We are seeking a dedicated Parish Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in our presbytery, supporting the mission of the Catholic Church. This role is essential in ensuring our spaces remain inviting for parishioners and visitors.

About the Role

About the Role

Reporting to the Parish Priest, you will be responsible for general cleaning within the presbytery, ensuring that all communal spaces are kept clean, tidy, and hospitable.

Your duties will include:

  • Hoovering and dusting all presbytery rooms
  • Cleaning communal areas such as stairs, sitting and dining rooms
  • Mopping bathrooms and toilets
  • Polishing floors and surfaces
  • Cleaning interior windows and doors
  • Monitoring cleaning supplies and requesting refills when needed
  • Carrying out other ad hoc cleaning tasks as required
