About YMCA St Paul’s Group:
YMCA St Paul's Group is a charity that aims to support and empower young people and communities throughout London by providing life-changing youth work, essential community services, inclusive health and wellbeing centres, and supported accommodation for those who are at risk of homelessness. About the role:
You will be the link between housing officers, local authority benefit departments and YMCA finance teams. The first point of contact for any questions about rent accounts, housing benefit, how to use Pyramid (rent system), or how to use inform (CRM system).
You will have a strong attention to detail and analytical mind. An ability to make complex subjects, numbers or systems easier to understand. You will be comfortable processing large amounts of payments, and competent using Excel & rent accounting systems.
Alongside this, you’ll help implement new systems and processes that improve efficiency and outcomes for both residents and staff.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, an interest in housing and welfare benefits, and a desire to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives.
Key Tasks:
. Maintain accurate records on both rental & housing management system, ensuring all requests are completed in a timely fashion
. Post all housing income onto residents rent accounts in an accurate and timely manner.
. Identifying and correcting errors on rent accounts.
. Strong working relationship with housing managers & support staff to empower their understanding of residents rent accounts.
. Productive relationships with local authority housing benefit departments and other relevant organisations.
Key skills:
. Attention to detail
. GCSE Maths
. Comfortable user of Excel
. Strong analytical skills
. Effective in training users of differing skill sets to use systems effectively
