Are you passionate about animal welfare and looking for a way to use your skills for good? Little Valley Animal Shelter, one of the largest RSPCA branches in the South West, is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Board of Trustees.

For over 180 years, we’ve been protecting and caring for animals in need. Now, as we enter an exciting phase of growth, we need skilled volunteers to help shape our future. With major projects ahead – from improving our facilities to expanding community outreach – your contribution will have a direct impact on animals across Devon.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from anyone who can add value to our board, but we’re especially keen to hear from those with expertise in:
Finance
Marketing & PR
HR & Corporate Partnerships
Fundraising & Database Management

Your skills will help modernise and strengthen our charity, ensuring we continue to lead in animal welfare.

What’s Involved?

Attend monthly board meetings (last Thursday of each month in Exeter)
Provide oversight and strategic direction
Help ensure financial sustainability
Contribute to key projects, working groups, and events
