About the role
We are seeking a part time Tenant Empowerment Worker to join our team at Hope into Action Staffordshire to be responsible for support and mentoring our tenants and liaising with church volunteers.

Hope into Action Staffordshire is a new Christian charity partnering with local churches to provide homes for men and women experiencing homelessness. We are part of the national Hope into Action UK network, supporting people with not just a roof over their heads, but also friendship, encouragement, and the love of a church community.

Hours & Pay:
• 8 hours per week, worked part time across 2/3 days
• £12.80 per hour
Role Overview:
The Tenant Empowerment Worker will support tenants in our homes, working closely with local church partners to ensure tenants feel valued, supported, and encouraged to move forward positively in life. This includes practical tenancy support, encouragement in building life skills, and helping tenants engage with wider support networks.
We are looking for someone who ideally:
• Has a heart to support vulnerable adults
• Can work flexibly and independently
• Communicates with empathy and professionalism
• Values partnership with churches and the local community
• Good administration and I.T skills
• Has experience working with vulnerable people
