This is an exciting role designed to support the on-going delivery of JGW+ programmes across the business. You will provide support by ensuring that the quality of programmes meets the required standards both internally and externally to provide the very best experience and service to our learners. You will be expected to engage with all stakeholders to ensure excellent relationships are both maintained and grown.
This is an exciting role designed to support the on-going delivery of JGW+ programmes across the business. Key Responsibilities
- To work closely with Working Wales in the referral of 16-19 year olds onto the programme;
- To ensure that all key stakeholders are fully engaged and receive the appropriate communications so that learners successfully progress into employment or onto higher level learning;
- To establish a good employer network to ensure that the young people have worthwhile work experience opportunities;
- To work with an allocated case load of up to a minimum of up to 20 learners.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Essential Criteria:
- NVQ Level 3 or higher
- GCSE English and Mathematics at minimum Grade C or O Level equivalent
- Competence in the use of a range of IT Systems and packages, including Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, Bespoke packages and cloud-based applications
- Good communicator with diplomacy and tact
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills
- Ability to work harmoniously with colleagues
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Good presentational skills
Desirable Criteria:
- IOSH Managing Safely
- First Aid at Work
- Evidence of CPD that demonstrates engagement in activities to maintain up to date knowledge and skills of industry practices,products and equipment
Welsh Language Requirements:
- Welsh Oracy (Listening/Speaking) - Level 2
- Welsh Literacy (Writing/Reading) - Level 2

In 2013 it became Coleg Sir Gar Ltd, a company within the University of Wales: Trinity Saint David Group, and part of a regional Dual Sector University. Coleg Ceredigion was created in 1985 and became a corporate institution in 1993. The college merged with the University of Wales Trinity Saint David as a subsidiary company in 2014. The college has an annual turnover of £6m and employs around 180 staff.
