Danes Hill School, one of the country’s leading co-educational day preparatory schools, is seeking to appoint a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This is a pivotal senior leadership role within a close-knit and forward-thinking school community.

Situated in 55 acres of landscaped grounds in Oxshott, Surrey, Danes Hill is a contemporary prep school for modern families, providing boys and girls aged 3 to 13 with a broad and balanced curriculum that blends rigorous academics with innovative learning, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The CFO will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for leading the financial strategy and operations of the school. This role combines financial leadership, strategic planning and commercial development to ensure the long-term sustainability and continued success of Danes Hill. The CFO will also make a leading and important contribution to the School’s strategic direction and will fulfil the role of Clerk to the Governors.

Danes Hill is seeking an experienced financial leader with a proven track record of managing high-quality finance functions and contributing to the strategic development of complex multistakeholder organisations. The successful candidate will bring strong strategic and analytical skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a collaborative leadership approach.
