Recovery Navigator Fast Track
Permanent - Part Time, 30 Hours per week - preferably Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday 9am until 5pm and Thursday 11am until 7pm - please note other working hours can be discussed providing the Thursday evening is included.

An exciting opportunity is available within our Assessment and Fast Track team. We complete comprehensive assessments with individuals then deliver psycho-social interventions and support them to build their recovery capitol. We support a range of adults with various substance related issues including alcohol, non-opiates, and recreational drugs. At Barnsley Recovery Steps, we provide information, advice, and professional support to empower individuals to make healthier choices regarding alcohol and drug use. Our mission is to enhance safety and promote recovery through a comprehensive range of services, delivered by experienced local providers, ensuring no one is left without the assistance they need, no matter the complexity of their needs.
About the RoleThis will be working with service users presenting with opiates, alcohol or non opiates use.
Key Duties:
- Taking referrals and being the first point of contact for those needing support
- Completing Comprehensive Assessments while assessing risk, and safety planning,
- Managing a small caseload, devising, implementing, and reviewing ongoing recovery and treatment plans.
- Facilitate and promote individuals progression from initial engagement, through structured treatment, to self-sustained recovery.
- Reduce substance-related harm to individuals and the wider community.
- Working collaboratively with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and well-being outcomes for individuals
