I’ve worked with people with cancer and I wanted to work in a different field but still be able to provide service to people living with cancer. I wanted to apply my skills that I learnt with NHS and be able to spend quality time with people and help them release their fears and help them relax.

    As I was applying for jobs, I saw the Macmillan name and it’s such a well-known charity that does incredible work for people affected by Cancer. I’ve lost a couple of people in my life from Cancer so I thought it would be perfect for me.

    We receive a lot of letters into the Head Office from supporters. We have a lot of supporters who choose to share their stories and their losses, their experience and their story with us. We love those letters and we especially love the letters from children involved in fundraising.
