1. To review the existing fundraising plan and develop an appeal strategy;

identifying the key opportunities for fundraising
developing suitable approaches to potential donors e.g. Trusts and Foundations, companies/commercial, individuals (high-net worth individuals), community giving/crowd funding.
identifying the key project risks and suitable mitigations.

2. To work with the Project Steering Group to prepare and submit funding bids, coordinating the preparation of the submissions and working to deadlines.
3. To have oversight of the community fundraising, developing strategies for successful community fundraising and supporting volunteers to promote events.
4. To review and refine the approach to individuals, helping to maintain momentum in the appeal.
5. To report progress updates to the PCC via the Project Steering Group.
6. To input into other relevant areas of the project e.g. communications, risk management.

Tenders should include a letter of application summarising suitability for the project, and a separate project proposal identifying the approach, time commitment and cost. Tenders should also include full company details and information of any relevant insurance.
