York Carers Centre, an independent charity supporting unpaid carers in York, is seeking compassionate, motivated individuals to join our team at the new 24/7 Community Mental Health Neighbourhood Centre. The Nelson Trust is dedicated to supporting women affected by exploitation and sex working. We aim to break the cycle of offending, addiction, sex working, and trauma through holistic support and multi-agency collaboration.
As an Outreach Worker, you will engage and support women in Gloucester who are affected by exploitation and sex working (both on and off the street). Your role will involve providing practical and emotional support, coordinating multi-agency approaches, and offering holistic interventions to reduce social harms such as homelessness, substance use, mental and physical health issues, extreme poverty, violence, and abuse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct asset-based holistic needs assessments and develop individualised support plans and risk assessments.
- Deliver evening outreach services to reach women who street sex work.
- Provide intensive, personalised support with a bespoke, holistic, and integrated wrap-around service.

To maintain and improve the quality of educational provision within the subject area and contribute to the general academic direction and operation of the College. Context of Teaching and Learning St Clare’s offers a uniquely dynamic and supportive environment for teachers of IB and Pre-IB History. Small class sizes ensure that teaching is a real pleasure. An individual approach, where students are highly motivated and stimulated by their studies, leads to excellent working relationships. Overview of Role All IB students (c240 students) must study at least one Group 3 Individuals and Societies (Humanities) subject and many students opt to study two. The History course is very popular with more than 40 students a year choosing to study it. History results are excellent, and many students go on to study the subject at leading universities both in the UK and overseas. About the role
The Senior Lecturer/Reader/Professor in Hepatology will play a pivotal role in advancing the Faculty’s academic strategy by leading high-impact research into liver disease and contributing to the education of the next generation of scientists and healthcare professionals. This position will drive innovation through academic expertise in liver studies and translational research. The appointee will foster interdisciplinary collaborations, deliver research-led education, and mentor early-career researchers, ensuring King’s College London remains at the forefront of addressing contemporary healthcare challenges .The role will involve conducting and leading high-impact research aligned to the research themes of the Roger Williams Institute of Liver Studies (RW-ILS), while developing and maintaining an externally funded research programme.

Advocacy support will enable vulnerable individuals to express their views, secure their rights and access essential information and services. Crucially, advocacy support will enable the individual to participate in, and have a voice, choice and control in decisions that affect them, particularly where the individual’s ability to communicate is limited for any reason. This role will primarily work with unpaid carers, however it could also include working with adults with physical disabilities and sensory impairment, and older people in a variety of settings, including; client homes, hospitals, residential care homes.
