Job Description:
This is a casual role to support the operational resilience of the service. Shifts will be offered on an ad-hoc basis, mainly to provide cover for annual leave and sickness.
The service is operational 7 days per week, day and night, so flexibility is required to meet the needs of the service.
About the service:
Steam House cafes are purpose designed mental health crisis cafes across Norfolk & Suffolk. We offer a unique and safe cafe-styled space with a fully-trained multidisciplinary team, offering holistic support to adults experiencing mental health crisis – day and night.
Drawing on experiences and learnings from decades of assistance to those most vulnerable in our community, STEAM provides clients with a calming and informed environment beneficial to their needs.
Each cafe provides guidance, support and personalised pathway plans, which are mindfully coproduced over a period of time with our team, to enhance future wellbeing for the client.
Main Responsibilities:
- To work in conjunction with managers and other key agencies in developing both policy and associated practice that meet the combined needs of the client group
- To provide individual and bespoke support, information, signposting and access to appropriate and relevant services for those wishing to access the crisis hub
- To be involved in supporting those who have low resilience and are at risk of, or are experiencing a mental health crisis
- To liaise with managers or other appropriate persons to ensure the safety of clients and staff
- To liaise with external agencies regarding presenting clients and any relevant history or risk factors
- Support clients to help identify individual needs and coping strategies, and to help provide and encourage a supportive and safe environment as an alternative to contacting emergency services or attending A&E
- To encourage clients to share knowledge and feedback, in order to provide a holistic and efficient service
- To record and evaluate the impact of interventions using appropriate evaluation tools
- Ensure that appropriate records and documentation are inputted in a timely manner and stored securely on the Access Community Trust (Access) Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring concerns are reported to the relevant person(s)
- To undertake specific and specialised training in order to support the vulnerable client group and maintain continued professional development through attending agreed training and conferences

We work with a team of self-employed Coordinators across the South of England and are actively seeking trained and experienced Coordinators to help us expand the use of Family Group Conferences (FGCs) and other forms of Family Group Decision Making (FGDM). Our goal is to empower more families to respond to their challenges and create safer, stronger futures.
We welcome compassionate and committed Coordinators who can support families in demonstrating how they can keep each other safe. While FGCs are primarily used in children’s social services, we are working to extend their reach into a broader range of settings or situations. As a Coordinator, you will work alongside families facing a wide range of challenges, including mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence, criminal justice and other Adverse Childhood Experience risk factors. 1. The Department

2. The Role
As the Academy Therapist you will be part of a wider Therapy team responsible for providing pitch side emergency aid cover to Academy Players (Pre-Academy up to aged 16 groups), whilst also assisting full time Academy medical and sport science staff in the assessment and rehabilitation of injured players (where required), the delivery of bespoke activation, warm up and individual and group gym/pitch sessions focused on athletic development, and the implementation of specific injury reduction strategies.

3. The Person
To be considered for this role, you will need to hold the following qualifications:
* BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy or BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy
* Membership to the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and Registration with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) or Membership to the Society of Sports Therapist or Sports Therapy Association
* UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle to travel between sites
The successful candidate must be a clear, concise, and accurate communicator with the ability to liaise and build successful relationships with a range of colleagues, players and parents. You will need to be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of applied anatomy and pediatric injuries, ideally in a sporting environment.
While not essential, knowledge of the Elite Player Performance Plan (Category 1 Academy), experience of working within an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary team and a pitch side medical care qualification would be highly advantageous.
You must also be available to work flexibly, predominantly on evenings and weekends.

Teacher of Piano
The Royal Grammar School, Guildford is seeking to appoint an outstanding and experienced Teacher of Piano from April 2026. The School has an exceptional keyboard department with over 100 boys currently studying the piano in the school, ranging from beginner to diploma level.
Every year, we have pianists who play to Junior Conservatoire standard (and beyond) as a matter of course, with most having achieved an ARSM in their younger years at the school before going on to develop into the kind of pianists who can perform concertos with a professional orchestra.
The post will initially involve working with pianists at the earlier stages of their musical development, but with scope to expand and develop the role in the future for the right candidate.
The successful candidate should have the ability to inspire, support, and encourage pupils, with a proven track record of success and a passion for working with young musicians across a wide range of styles and skill levels.
You will be teaching approximately 12 pupils (equating to 6 hours’ worth of teaching per week) although this may well increase. Lessons are 30 minutes long and the expectation is that you will teach 30 lessons for each pupil over the course of the academic year. This position is offered on a self-employed basis.

What is the Open Door Project?
The Open Door Project delivers outreach support to rough sleepers and vulnerably housed people across Newport. We aim to improve to support the wellbeing of individuals and develop the skills and confidence needed for future independent living.
We reach out to support homeless people sleeping rough. We reach out to support homeless people in temporary accommodation. We host a drop-in 7 days a week and we ensure our support is available across multi-agency locations
Key Responsibilities:
- To lead our early morning outreach provision, traveling across the city centre and nearby locations assertively engaging with individuals who are sleeping out. Your role will be essential in the assessment of rough sleepers, promoting safety and creating pathways into accommodation. A caring and compassionate approach is essential, alongside an ability to robustly record essential data.
- Taking a collaborative approach, working with a wide variety of statutory and voluntary partners, supporting homeless people.
The successful candidate(s) will be able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge around homelessness and the key needs experienced by vulnerable homeless people

About the Role:
At Aspens we work across Kent and Sussex; supporting individuals with autistic spectrum conditions, learning disabilities and physical disabilities.
We are looking for Support workers to join our team to cover Outreach Support to Adults with Autism and Learning Disabilities.
As part of our Outreach Service we also provide 24/7 support to two people living in their own home in Bognor. This means that several shifts are available across each day/ week. We are looking for a support worker who can follow support plans and protocols very closely as it is crucial due to the complexities of his conditions. He appreciates staff who have a sense of humour and who are patient. Someone who can provide full supervision to ensure his safety is expected.
