DHI are recruiting a Recovery Worker to support clients within the South Glos area who are on one of our drug and alcohol recovery programmes. We are looking for people who can bring creativity and enthusiasm to supporting clients, helping them to make positive changes in their lives.
You will be joining an experienced Drug and Alcohol Community Team that works hard to support each other and to deliver an exceptional service to our clients
As a recovery worker, you will deliver key working and evidence-based psychosocial groupwork programmes to support individuals make positive changes to their drug use. The role is varied and as interesting and requires you to carry out needs assessments and risk assessments alongside other tasks.
A Driving Licence with access to vehicle and willingness to use it for work travel is essential.

Summary
Criminal Justice Recovery Workers will be part of the All Age Recovery Service (AARCS) team working specifically with clients involved with the criminal justice system. We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated and proactive coach with drive and ambition to work within our competitive Women's Artistic programme. The ideal candidate must have experience and general knowledge of the Women's Artistic competition pathway and structure.
Qualification
- Minimum UKCC WAG L2 qualification
- The candidate with a WAG L1 would be considered depending on their passion to develop their qualification to a WAG Level 2 and above, which would be fully funded.
- BG/SG membership
- Relevant up to date safeguarding certificate
- The successful candidate would require to complete a PVG
- 1st Aid training would be provided
Key Role:
- Coach within the Women's Artistic Competitive Squad groups.
- Attend in-house CPD and SG performance and pathway coaching sessions.
- Prepare gymnasts for competitions and attend events.
- Create individual training plans for gymnasts working within the squad programme.
- Liaise with the Club Manager and Admin Manager on the progress of programme and gymnasts.
- Ensure excellent conduct, showing high moral standards, politeness and care towards others in a positive manner.
- Assist with trials for talent identification feeding into the squad pathway programme.
- Ensure effective progressive lesson plans are created for training sessions.
- Provide feedback to squad parents on a regular basis on the progress of their child.
- Ensure that all activities are delivered in line with the club's and Scottish Gymnastics policies.
- Maintain accurate records of progress and register of attendance for all sessions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience of working within a competitive squad environment is essential.
- Good general understanding of biomechanics.
- Effective planning and organisational skills.
- Setting and creating manageable achievable goals for gymnasts.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Adaptability to gymnasts learning styles, the ability to foster varied teaching techniques.
- Ability to effectively communicate, conveying information to children and parents.
- Have strong working positive ethics and a passion to help all gymnasts fulfil their potential.
- Self-motivated and driven.
- Promote positive behaviour and conduct and be a good role model.
- Have the qualities to inspire and motivate gymnasts.
- Willingness to gain judging qualification to ensure the best possible outcome for gymnasts in preparation for competitions.

The Iona Community is seeking a gifted and collaborative Musician to join our Abbey team on the Isle of Iona for the 2026 season. You’ll help shape and coordinate the music and singing for our twice-daily worship in the iconic Iona Abbey. You’ll also help to lead ‘Wee Sing’ sessions for guests from around the world and provide other support for our weekly Abbey guest programme.
Working in collaboration with the Iona Community’s Wild Goose Resource Group, you’ll represent and contribute to the musical culture that the Iona Community is known for across the world.

About the Role
We are currently looking to appoint a Recovery Worker to join our dynamic, multi-agency team at The Harbour. This role involves providing holistic, person-centred support to adult service users entering the service and coordinating their treatment journey.
As a Recovery Worker, you will play a key role in assessment, care coordination, delivery of psychosocial structured interventions (PSI), and multi-agency working, supporting individuals to achieve meaningful and sustainable recovery outcomes.
Working under the direction of the Team Leader, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team developing and delivering high-quality drug and alcohol services across Lambeth.
What You’ll Do
Manage a caseload of service users, regularly reviewing ongoing care and treatment
Liaise closely with a full range of specialist workers within the multi-agency team, including family members and significant others where appropriate
Work in partnership and undertake joint key working to support progression from semi-structured to structured psychosocial interventions
Support service users to access resources and services that increase recovery capital and help them achieve their recovery goals
Promote family, carer and service user involvement throughout treatment and recovery planning
Use excellent communication and therapeutic skills when working with service users, carers and partner agencies
Work collaboratively with internal and external multi-disciplinary teams, providing advice and guidance through meetings, reviews, group supervision and telephone support
Coordinate individual recovery plans effectively
Improve outcomes for children of service users by reducing the impact of drug- and alcohol-related harm on family life and promoting positive family involvement in treatment
To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need to be:
Passionate about supporting people affected by drug and alcohol use through a recovery-focused, person-centred approach
Experience working with adults with complex needs and an understanding of substance misuse and psychosocial interventions
Confident managing a caseload and coordinating care within a multi-agency or multidisciplinary environment
Strong communication and engagement skills, with the ability to build positive, trusting relationships
Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Committed to reducing harm and improving outcomes for service users, families and children

About the service:
Oak house is a mental health crisis recovery house. We offer support for those in crisis from a range of 3-7 days. We are a five bedroom facility, with 24 hour staffing. Waking night staff shifts are a mix of 9:00pm - 07:00am and 10:30pm - 08:30am.
The people we support are central to everything we do. Each person who uses our services is a unique individual and they all deserve to be treated as such. As such, the responsibilities may vary from day to day.
About the role:
Assist people using our services to:
- Manage and improve their own physical and mental well-being
- Develop life-skills and coping tools to better manage their own mental health, through group and 1:1 interventions.
- Live more fulfilling lives and develop new meanings and purposes
- Take control over their life, through their own choices and decisions
Ensure the safe running of the service:
- Assess resident wellbeing and welfare on an ongoing basis
- Keep our service compliant with legal regulations
- Provide a safe, respectful environment
Keywork:
- Oversee the wellbeing of those in service and complete appropriate sessions.
- Concentrate on the person and their individual needs, choices and aspirations, rather than on diagnostic categories or labels
- Work with individuals to develop agreed, meaningful and achievable person centred plans with positive outcomes that meet the individual’s aspirations
- Complete a range of activities during and around sessions
- Ensure positive risk assessments are created and implemented in line with our policies and procedures
- Signpost people we support to other services for additional support
