ABOUT THE ROLE AND WHAT TO EXPECTWe are currently looking for Community Carer Workers to join our fantastic Hospice at Home team.
- Our Dorothy House Hospice at Home team are committed to providing compassionate and personalised care to support anyone in the community requiring End of Life care in their own home.
- As a carer you will be expected to undertake all aspects of personal care (this can include washing/showering patients, managing bodily fluids including catheters and stomas and providing care after death) as well as provide emotional care and support to the patient and their family, treating them with respect, dignity and compassion at all times.

WHERE WILL I BE WORKING?
Our carers are community based and will occasionally work at our Winsley Hospice. This means that you will be expected to travel anywhere within our geographical catchment area, so access to your own vehicle is essential. (You will be reimbursed for your mileage at our agreed rate.)
Where possible, we try to keep you working in your local area, however, this is not always possible so a degree of flexibility is sometimes needed.

HOURS OF WORK
We have a full range both full and part time positions available and provide care both across the day and overnight 365 days a year. We are currently recruiting for Day Carers who can work shifts that cover our 07:00 - 22:00 care needs, including alternate weekends.

Although any previous experience of working in care would be an advantage. We are happy to consider anyone from any background, so long as they can demonstrate empathy and compassion with the passion to learn and develop.

MAIN PURPOSE:
To work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing occupational therapy input within the Brainkind neurological rehabilitation and long-term complex service to service users with acquired brain injury (ABI) and neurological conditions. MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To work within a specialist clinical area as an autonomous professional bringing skills and knowledge in neurological rehabilitation but with support and supervision (which may be remote if appropriate) of a more senior OT for more complex cases. To accept professional accountability and responsibility.
- To manage and prioritise a caseload of service users with complex neurological conditions with supervision from a clinical lead OT and the wider MDT. To complete the OT process and to use evidence based/service user centred principles and clinical reasoning to assess, formulate a treatment plan, implement and evaluate intervention, with supervision for more complex cases.
- To address occupational performance and skill deficits enabling the service user in areas of self-maintenance, productivity, education and leisure.
- With the support and supervision from a clinical lead OT, to develop programmes of care, ensure adequate and detailed handover of programmes to rehabilitation support workers or therapy assistants, monitor through data gathering, evaluate and modify treatment in order to measure progress and ensure effectiveness of intervention according to the neurobehavioral model.
- To carry out detailed risk assessments and ensure these are regularly reviewed and updated and communicate this with the team effectively.
- To assess for, issue and refer to outside agencies for appropriate equipment ensuring adequate training for staff, service user and family and with all risk assessments in place.
- To plan, implement and evaluate appropriate goal directed group interventions.
- To provide intervention and advice on social and lifestyle needs including referral to other agencies and services.
ABOUT YOU:
- Degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy

We have exciting opportunities to join our Criminal Justice Team, working within a friendly, supportive wider team of Humankind and NHS Recovery Coordinators based at The Grove in Tottenham.
Our aim is to develop new, and strengthen existing, criminal justice pathways into drug and alcohol treatment for people affected by homelessness, mental health difficulties, domestic violence and involvement in the criminal justice system.
About the Role
We are looking for Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinators to join us at a time of exciting development and transformation across our London services.
In this role, you will:
Work across a range of criminal justice settings including probation, courts, police custody suites and prisons
Be an integral member of a dynamic treatment team, working closely with team leaders and partner agencies
Develop and deliver tailored support, including recovery planning and case management
Support service users to make positive changes at all stages of their recovery journey
Provide targeted interventions, from brief advice through to structured treatment
Ensure every recovery plan is personalised and responsive to individual priorities

About the Role
We are currently looking for a Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator to join our expanding Criminal Justice team. The team provides support for individuals who are experiencing problematic substance and/or alcohol use and whose lives have been touched by the criminal justice system, either by way of custodial sentence, mandated orders or conditional cautions.
What You’ll Do
As a Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator, you will:
- Provide specialist, tailored support to enable service users to make positive changes.
- Have the appropriate knowledge and experience to motivate those facing challenging and often complex issues.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues based within prisons, probation, courts and police teams to offer a range of intensive support interventions to engage them with treatment services.
- Offer tailored guidance in minimising harmful behaviour along with more substantial support as required.
- Be familiar with a person centred, holistic approach to treatment, ensuring that the package of care encompasses all areas of wellbeing with a view to achieving the best possible outcomes.
To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need:
- You will be an experienced substance use case manager looking for a fresh challenge or with interest in criminal justice.
- You will have experience of volunteering in a substance misuse and/or criminal justice sector (not essential).
- You will have a Level3 NVQ in Health and Social Care, or equivalent.
- You will have an understanding of and ability to implement interventions, including brief interventions MI, PSIs, CBT and ITEP.
- You will have experience delivering 1-2-1 and group therapeutic interventions.

About the Role

You are organised and able to manage a varied caseload while working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
You are committed to person-centred, trauma-informed, and strengths-based practice, and are open to learning and professional development.

Associate Minister – Christ Church Greenbank
Christ Church Greenbank, is a dynamic evangelical church uniquely located at Greenbank railway station on the outskirts of Northwich, central Cheshire.
We are a congregation of around 150 with a broad mix of ages, cultures and backgrounds. Christ Church recently joined AMiE and we are excited for the next stage of God’s plans for us.
In order to serve the church and the gospel, we are looking to appoint an ordained man with ministry experience to work alongside our Senior Minister. This full time, permanent role is to teach, shepherd, train, and equip the whole congregation for further fruitful ministry, godliness and growth.
