The Caretaker will be responsible for implementing systems and procedures for all of the responsibilities described below. The successful candidate will therefore need to be flexible in both managing the weekly hours and approaches in order to carry out duties effectively and efficiently.
Hours of Work
We will operate a winter hour rota and a summer hour rota on a seven-day basis.
The winter rota will operate between November – March:
Your hours of work for the winter rota will be rotated between a morning and an afternoon shift.
The morning shift will be from 5:30 am – 1:30 pm
The afternoon shift will be from 1:30 pm – 9:30 pm
The summer rota will operate between March – October:
The morning shift will be from 7:30 am – 3:30 pm
The afternoon shift will be from 3:30 pm – 11:30 pm
The CEO and or Operations Officer will confirm the days and shifts at the start of the month.

We are seeking a qualified (or soon-to-qualify) Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join our team as a High Intensity Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based psychological interventions to adults from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, both in one-to-one and group settings, in line with IAPT guidance.
In this role, you will assess service users’ suitability for interventions and deliver high intensity CBT to support their recovery and wellbeing. Alongside your clinical work, you will provide line management and clinical supervision to a Senior PWP, as well as take on case management, leadership responsibilities, and represent the service in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
This role requires a flexible, team-focused individual who can adapt to the needs of the organisation, work across sites, and build strong collaborative relationships with both internal colleagues and external partners. At times, you may be the most senior representative on site, making leadership, professionalism, and integrity vital to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high intensity, evidence-based CBT interventions (individual and group).
- Assess suitability of service users for psychological interventions.
- Provide line management, clinical supervision, and support to Senior PWPs.
- Manage cases effectively and contribute to leadership duties, including report writing and MDT meetings.
- Work flexibly across sites to meet the needs of the service.
- Build collaborative working relationships with managers, colleagues, and partner agencies.

Essential Criteria
- Qualification (or soon to qualify) in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
- Experience working with adults with mental health difficulties, ideally in a primary care or IAPT setting.

What You'll Be Doing
You will be joining our Elmbridge Team, a warm friendly and welcoming group, to provide a high-quality service to our clients in Walton on Thames, Molesey, Hersham, Thames Ditton, Hinchley Wood and Cobham. We currently support 65 clients with a range of needs. Our clients include individuals who are homeless, some with mental health issues, those in recovery from substance misuse, and young people.
A little more about your day as a Housing & Support Officer:
- Act as a keyworker to clients, helping them achieve their goals and live independently.
- Family mediation and support, bringing families back together.
- Working with a community of professionals to support the right outcomes.
- Problem solving together and debriefs sharing our experiences and learning as a team.
- Support clients with repair issues and repayment agreements for rent arrears.
- Carry out room inspections, health and safety checks and making rooms homely for new residents.
It is an exciting time to our Elmbridge Team as you’ll also be involved in planning and running our extra-curricular workshops which range from sport activities such as basketball, table tennis and boxing, to relaxation sessions including yoga and meditation.
