About the Role At Chelsea Physic Garden we connect people with the power of plants. The Schools & Families Officer plays a key role in the continued growth and execution of Chelsea Physic Garden's Schools and Family programme. The post holder will collaborate with teachers, schools, home-educators, colleges, universities, and community groups to deliver a broad range of engaging, high-quality learning experiences designed to inspire and connect visitors of all ages and backgrounds. This role involves engaging audiences both on-site and online, creating digital classroom resources to expand our reach and impact, and fostering meaningful connections with diverse learners from various socio-demographic groups. They will be responsible for booking in schools, invoicing and scheduling the delivery of both the schools and family programmes. With the support of our Learning freelance team, the postholder will be required to meet annual income and targets for the number of learners engaged with, and activities delivered by, or on behalf of the Garden. About the role
This role leads the day-to-day operational management and development of WGN’s Clinical Services, ensuring the delivery of innovative, safe, high-quality, survivor-centred, trauma-informed and culturally responsive services for survivors of VAWG. Whether it’s knowing what their favourite song to listen to is, how they like to play, or what sooths them when they are sad - at Noah’s Ark it’s so important that each child is treated as an individual. You’ll focus on what children can do, rather than their limitations, and will support them to experience things they may never have thought possible.
And by providing care for children, either at our state-of-the art building, The Ark, or out in the community, you’ll be allowing parents and cares to take some time for themselves. The hours of care you’ll provide will make a huge difference, allowing them to live life outside of their child’s condition. By creating this time, you’ll be creating choice – something which can feel impossible for the families we support

Role Overview

The Carers Coordinator plays a pivotal role in providing support, guidance, and resources to individuals who are caring for loved ones. Crucially they are responsible for carrying out statutory Carers Assessments on behalf of Wiltshire Council. They work to ensure that unpaid Carers have access to necessary support services, information, and opportunities for respite, enabling them to fulfil their unpaid caring responsibilities effectively while maintaining their own well-being.
