As a Personal Trainer at our gym, you’re confident, outgoing and approachable. Whether you’ve been training for a while or just recently qualified, it’s important that you’ve achieved REPs Level 3 or CIMSPA Practitioner (or above). A natural communicator, you’re great at listening, understanding and explaining things.
This is a part time role for 24 hours per week, this covers gym floor hours to support you to grow your Personal training hours on top of this.

Our Retail branch of the Charity provides funding for over 50% of the costs we incur and we couldn’t do what we do, without the help of our incredible volunteers. Whether it’s providing excellent customer service or sorting donations, all the time our volunteers give supports the care we offer to all our animals.
Our volunteers are from all ages and backgrounds, and they all make a worthwhile and positive contribution to the Shelter. We have a variety of roles in Retail, something to suit everyone and full training is provided…… and tea or coffee.

3. How many hours do I need to commit?
Our shifts are usually 3.5 hours either in the morning or afternoon, but if its less we can accommodate whatever you can offer, we are truly grateful.
4. Is there an age restriction?
In our retail teams we accept applications from anyone aged over 16, but there is no upper age limit.
5. What checks do I need to go through?
We ask you to complete an application providing us with 2 referees, someone not related to you who has known you for more than 2 years, a neighbour, friend, teacher etc.

They also get involved in ad hoc issues such as requests to change the status of paths and discussions with landowners about access issues on their land. An Area Secretary covers a number of Parishes and is supported by a group of Path Reps and the Society’s ROWG Team. This Team compromises all the other Area Secretaries, Path Maintenance Volunteer Leaders and representatives of various associated activities such as walking, cycling and horse riding.

You will undertake internationally regarded research and have the benefit of senior academic support in developing grant applications, as well as independent mentoring on career progression. You will also share responsibility for delivering high quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking an organised and proactive Education and Professional Development Administrator to provide essential administrative support for the development, delivery and evaluation of educational and professional development resources for paediatricians and healthcare professionals.
Reporting to the Education and Professional Development Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our education services. From handling enquiries and coordinating meetings to supporting online and face-to-face courses, your work will help deliver high-quality learning experiences that make a real difference to child health.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative supportfor Education and Professional Development (EPD) services, including managing feedback processes, updating contact databases, compiling usage reports and maintaining filing systems.
- Administering online learning systems, such as ePortfolio, learning management systems and website content management systems.
- Processing financial transactionsfor EPD activities, including purchase orders, invoices, card payments and expense claims; obtaining quotes from suppliers.
- Drafting documentsusing agreed templates, such as evaluation reports, minutes, eLearning reviews and course pages.
- Booking resources and facilities, including meeting rooms, catering, accommodation, travel and equipment; ensuring effective diary management.
- Handling phone and email enquiriesand directing queries to the appropriate team member.
- Coordinating and servicing meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes and distributing documentation.
- Supporting the delivery of learning events, including virtual courses/webinars and face-to-face sessions.
Essential skills and experience:
- Proven administrative experience, ideally in an education or training environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and confidence using online systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Desirable:
- Experience supporting educational events or courses, including virtual delivery platforms.
- Familiarity with learning management systems and ePortfolio platforms.
