Plymouth Philharmonic Choir is a vibrant friendly choir of 110 -130 amateur singers, with a reputation for quality performances of large scale choral music, at venues in Plymouth.

Director of Music The Music Department is led by the Director of Music and consists of a Second in Department, Head of Prep Music, the Graduate Assistant, as well as 12 visiting Instrumental Teachers. The music staff are a strong team who work closely with other departments around the School. The Senior Department is an inspiring and busy place to be with up to three groups rehearsing every lunchtime and a full programme at the end of most days. Senior groups include three choirs, a Concert Orchestra, a Jazz Band, Big Band, String Orchestra, Brass Ensemble, Flute Group, String Quartet and multiple pupil-led bands. The Prep Department has three choirs (including a Pre-Prep Choir) a String Orchestra, a Rock Band and, each term, various group instrument lessons are showcased. The Finance and Administration Assistant plays a key role in supporting the smooth and effective running of Ouseburn Farm. The post holder will provide reliable finance and administrative support, act as a friendly point of contact for enquiries and bookings, and help ensure that the farm’s systems, records, and governance processes are well organised. Through this work, the role helps enable the farm to deliver high-quality services, events, and support for the community. The post holder will as part of a team, ensure the successful operations of Ouseburn Farm, assisting where needed. The farm is open to the general public, providing a visitor attraction and family events. The post will also take an active role in all farm related activities as and when required.
The post holder will work in accordance with the policies, practices and procedures as laid down by the Board and Management.

The British Red Cross (BRC) is seeking a dedicated and experienced commercial solicitor or barrister to advise and support its UK-based activities. This role is well-suited to an adaptable and pragmatic legal professional who can apply their expertise to a range of legal challenges.
- Providing legal advice and support to other teams in the organisation, at all levels, with a focus on Procurement, Technology and Fundraising functions.
- Interpreting and evaluating complex issues, identifying risks, problem-solving and devising appropriate solutions.
- Managing own caseload of legal work, operating independently to deliver expert advice in a timely fashion.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external paid and pro-bono legal providers and maintaining a client-focused approach.
- Reviewing and drafting a broad range of legal documents and contracts, including in relation to high value matters.
- Collaborating with the Head of Legal to develop the Legal team’s service strategy and operations, including developing processes, the use of legal case management software to track incoming requests for advice and to file documents, and a move towards self-service by internal stakeholders of BRC templates for low-risk contracts.
- Contract and commercial law expertise. Proactive and pragmatic commercial and contract negotiation skills.
- Strong ethical principles and adherence to professional standards and the ability to make ethical decisions in challenging situations.
- Critical thinking to analyse legal issues and find solutions through effective problem-solving.
- The right to practise law in England and Wales, with strong post-qualification experience.
- Work with a wide range of stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life. We support a gentleman in his late 30s who lives in his own flat in the Felling area who has autism and epilepsy. He likes music, animals and Disney. He enjoys going out to places such as the weekly disco and social clubs in the community. You would be part of a supportive and friendly team. The service is 24hrs per day, there are two staff for every day shift and also a waking night. You would be expected to contribute to the waking night shifts if and when necessary.
What we're looking for:
· A genuine passion for supporting others.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.

Shift times:
All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!
· Days: Between 08:00-21:00
· Waking Nights: 21:00-07:00
There is also a sleep-in available where you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70.
