About the role
As a Support Worker at Brandon Trust, you’ll be part of something meaningful—supporting autistic people and people with learning disabilities to live life in the way that suits them best. You’ll also support with personal care. This means helping people with washing, dressing, and other essential personal routines. It’s a vital part of enabling people to live with dignity, choice, and independence. Personal care is always delivered in a respectful and person-centred way, in line with each individual's needs and preferences.

We are looking for someone to join our team supporting 4 people in their own flats in Eastry, Kent, who all enjoy getting out and about in their community. They like to join in with local events, love to grab a coffee, go shopping and enjoy drives out in their own vehicles.
While a driving licence is not essential, you must be able to travel reliably to the workplace for your scheduled shifts. Having a full UK manual driving licence would be an advantage.

At Lane End House we support up to 17 adults with learning disabilities with all aspects of daily life, from personal care, administering medication and taking part in in house and community activities.
A full UK, manual driving Licence is preferred as you will be driving our vehicles, partaking in activities in the community.
- Day shift: £12.40 per hour weekdays and £13.64 weekends.
- Currently offering + £2.50 for overtime shifts. (over 37.5 hours per week)

- Time and a half or double time for public holidays.
- Sleep-ins are £50 per night.

Support Worker Hours
You will work a set pattern of morning and afternoon shifts. Shifts are 7.5 hours, and a full-time contract is 37.5 hours (5 shifts a week). The earliest start is from 7am and the latest finish is until 10pm.
Weekend working is essential, which will be on a rotating basis and when you work a weekend you will have the time off in the week.

Here in Trowbridge we are a small 3 bedded service, there are 3 lovely residents that call Lilac Grove their home. The people you will support have various challenges in their lives, our aim is to ensure they live the lives they choose.
We support activities from the day to day things like washing and cleaning to swimming, visiting places of interest, day trips and holidays, theatre/cinema visits and exploring the beautiful countryside on our doorstep plus much more.
We’re looking for enthusiastic applicants who are:
