As a Fitness & Wellbeing Manager at our gym, you’ve previously worked as a personal or fitness trainer with experience of managing a small or large team. You’re qualified to REPs Level 3 or CIMSPA Practitioner level and you bring studio experience. You also have a track record of driving PT revenue as well as designing effective fitness programmes for groups and individuals.
As a Fitness & Wellbeing Manager, you will:

Take on a commercial role that spans management, governance and sales of major services.

Report to the Programme Director and line manage the fitness team.

Be responsible for organising and implementing our class timetables.

Oversee our fitness programming, from studio classes to personal training.

Working as part of our Personal Wellbeing Team, you’ll support offenders both in custody and as they reintegrate into society. Focusing on their wellbeing and lifestyle, you’ll provide a tailored service ensuring they have the skills and confidence they need to live successfully in the community. You’ll give in-depth advice and support, so we’ll need your ability to motivate others and facilitate learning to change attitudes and behaviour, with the aim to avoid the possibility of re-offending.
You’ll be on hand to provide a warm and welcoming experience to help them in their first steps into reintegration. Acting as an advocate, you’ll also ensure their voices are heard and that they have support in making decisions.
Our successful candidate will ideally have lived experience of the criminal justice system (as an ex-service user) or will have worked as a peer mentor within a prison/probation environment, however we are mainly looking for someone with an engaging personality who is comfortable working with a variety of people who have experienced a range of social/personal difficulties.
This is a rewarding opportunity that will allow you to utilise your skills to influence, support and encourage others to maximise their potential to build a better future.
In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we're offering a competitive salary of £25,877 up to £29,000 per annum pro rata (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

Whilst on probation all contracts will be a minimum of 16 gym floor hours, this is to ensure you earn a guaranteed minimum salary. Your earning will increase as you establish your PT clients and improve your earning potential.
PT sessions have a sliding scale, the more you deliver the more your take home earning potential is.
