The role:

Support clients with obtaining suitable accommodation and support tenancy sustainment
Undertake outreach sessions, including referral agencies and other stakeholders to publicise
Facilitate drop in sessions
Provide advice within an office or an outreach setting
To attend any relevant multi-agency meetings as required
To share any concerns with a staff member
To respect peoples’ differences
Contacting people for feedback on their experience
Supporting staff with admin responsibilities and relevant paperwork
Potential to support on home visits.
Support service users with bidding in a community hub setting.

Skills we would like you to bring to the role:

Organised
Friendly and confident manner
Confidence to speak to people accessing the service
Experience of working / volunteering with adults at risk / with support needs related to accommodation and / or drug/alcohol use
Clear understanding of the importance of confidentiality

Confident IT skills – aside from any IT skills required for the role, some of our mandatory training is done online through eLearning modules
Professional, honest and committed
Non-judgmental towards people with lived experience
Good time keeping
Able to work as part of a team, on own initiative and to instruction

A genuine interest in being part of the mission, vision and promise of Waythrough
Ability to maintain professional boundaries, adhere to Waythrough policies and media guidelines, engage in supervision, and complete relevant training
