The main purpose of the role is to provide excellent quality/support with strong communication skills as the post holder will be providing care to people who use our services who may be mentally unwell, have experienced trauma and who have struggled to engage with mainstream services..
Applicants will be able to work flexible working pattens with partner agencies, to give the best possible care.
Direct experience in substance misuse is not mandatory, although the applicant must be able to learn on the job and be willing to undertake training.
The ServiceVia Rough Sleepers Projects is an integrated community service which offers Intensive Recovery Outreach and Dedicated Support to Rough Sleepers in Camden & Islington. The project provides coordinated and wrap around care to rough sleepers/street active individuals with substance misuse issues.
The service consists of both clinical and psychosocial elements and are CQC registered to provide a range of interventions including BBV and health interventions, OST, and community detox.

About Us:
The Richmond Fellowship Scotland provides personalised and outcome-focused support to over 2800 individuals in their own homes across Scotland, making us the country's largest provider of social care. We support individuals with a variety of different needs such as physical and/or learning disabilities, ongoing mental health issues, alcohol or substance abuse and autism. Some of the people we support can present challenging behavior or require a high level of personal care.
The Role:
Due to the nature of the role, we can only accept female applicants who drive with access to their own vehicle.
As a Support Practitioner, you will assist individuals living in their own homes with disabilities and/or additional support needs in all aspects of their daily lives, including support with medication and finances, housework, meal preparation, cooking and personal care.
The people we support have a variety of different hobbies which we’ll be looking to you to take an active interest in, from going out for a tasty bite or catching the latest movie to a gym session or group activity, the list is endless.

Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is a 30 bedded hospital within walking distance of the city centre with free onsite car parking. The hospital has two laminar flow operating theatres and two minor treatment rooms in the outpatient department.
