The National Horseracing College seeks to employ an Assistant Equine Yard Supervisor to join its enthusiastic, vibrant, and hardworking team.
As one of only two specialist horseracing colleges in the UK, this third sector provider delivers training for people in both racing and other equine industries. Located in the scenic grounds of a private estate near Doncaster, it achieved Ofsted Grade 2 for overall effectiveness and Grade 1 for both Behaviour and Attitudes and Personal Development in December 2022.
The Assistant Equine Yard Supervisors are responsible for the care and welfare of the horses and assisting the Racing College programme and Equine College Programme Instructor teams with ensuring that the equine facilities are kept in a tidy and safe condition.
The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience of working with horses and hold a Level 2 diploma in Horse Care as a minimum. A Lantra agricultural tractor driving licence with trailed implements and loader is desirable; however, training will be provided for successful candidates with strong experience who are prepared to work towards these qualifications.
As a successful applicant, you must have a willingness to work with young people who will present challenging behaviours, which at times can be stressful.
Working Hours
Your normal hours of work are 39 per week on average over a two-week period and are variable in accordance with the rota below.

Mission Specialist – Sahel, Middle East and North Africa (MENA) - (Maternity Cover)
Our International team are looking for someone to deliver emerging strategies through our relationships with Bible Societies in the MENA, Central Asia and the Sahel clusters.

Location: Swindon, with some flexibility to work from home, and occasional international travel
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week), 12-month fixed term contract
Salary Range: £38,777-£40,000 per annum

As part of our global mission, we work in partnership to make the Scriptures better known in around 240 countries and territories.
2025 saw the public launch of the Patmos Initiative, a ground-breaking global study of attitudes and behaviours towards the Bible. This research is informing our global strategy to mobilise Bible Engagement, identifying and meeting the greatest mission needs in every context. Our International team are now looking for someone to deliver emerging strategies through our relationships with Bible Societies in the MENA, Central Asia and the Sahel clusters.
We’re looking for a creative, innovative and resilient self-starter with experience of designing, managing and monitoring international, large-scale, donor-funded projects within a multi-cultural team. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of how the Bible can transform lives, a heart for mission, and an in-depth knowledge of, and sensitivity to, the mission contexts in MENA, Central Asia and the Sahel.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for full time Lifeguard / Leisure Assistant to join an enthusiastic and friendly team within InspireAll.
Responsibilities will include:
- To assist and supervise customers in their use of facilities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing,
- To set up and dismantle equipment as required.
- Maintaining clean & safe facilities
What we are looking for:
- A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is desirable although training will be provided for the right candidate.
- The ability to swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds; swim 100 metres continuously on front and back in deep water and tread water for 30 seconds in order to pass the NPLQ competency test
- Experience in a leisure facility is also desirable
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential as is the ability to work as part of a team.
- A flexible approach to working hours, as you will be required to work on a rota basis to include daytimes, evenings and weekends.
